As a frequent guest of Country Inn properties, I was excited to stay at this location in Pierre. the hotel's style was updated and had a cozy seating area in the double room. It was conveniently located less than a mile from the South Dakota State Capitol, making it a great choice for exploring the area. the plumbing seemed poorly installed, and some areas, like the TV remote and breakfast room, needed improvement. the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail in the common areas was a letdown. On the bright side, the hotel's proximity to LaFramboise Island Nature Area provided a welcome escape from the city bustle. For those interested in cultural activities, the Pierre Players and South Dakota Discovery Center were nearby, offering entertainment options within reach. Overall, Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Pierre, Sd had potential with its updated style and convenient location near key attractions. It's a decent option for those looking for a basic stay, but improvements are needed to truly enjoy all that this property has to offer.
